STEM Activity - Oil Spill Challenge - Earth Day - Special Education - Science

Nowadays, hearing about oil spills in our oceans is unfortunately an all too common occurrence. Help create meaningful lessons out of real world events with this amazing, hands-on STEM themed lesson. Although initially designed for special education students, any teacher looking to incorporate some STEM into their teaching would benefit from the use of visuals and step by step learning provided. Each step is documented with REAL pictures so students can follow along on their own! Vocabulary is introduced in a visual way and then reinforced multiple times throughout the lesson.
