How I Use This in My Classroom:

Depending on the size of my class, I either let students pick their own planet or go around the room and count up to 9 (if you're including Pluto) or 8 (if you're not) one student at a time. Whatever number the student gets is the planet they get for their project (ex: 1 is Mercury, 2 is Venus, 3 is Mars). Students can work together in groups to complete their pennant or simply complete it independently as well. This is a great, versatile project that is awesome to decorate your classroom with after your students are done!
