Looking to teach your students functional math skills? These DIGITAL task cards help students measure using a tape measure and ruler. This activity comes with TWO differentiated levels. The first level has students practice measuring to the nearest inch using a tape measure. They also measure up to the nearest half inch using a ruler. Students get to select the correct answer from a field of 2 to 3 multiple choice answers in this level. The second level presents students with the same questions, but with an open ended response so they can have more of a challenge to calculate the correct answer themselves.

A total of 100 task cards are included with your purchase.

This activity is specifically formatted to be used with Google Drive and is compatible with Google Classroom. Google Drive is an amazing resource that many educators are now using as an interface to support 1:1 digital instruction in the classroom. I pair it up with Google Classroom (a free website) that allows me to digitally send each student in my class a copy of the worksheets that they later submit to me for grading. Students simply drag a red circle over to their correct answer on the task card. It is an amazing paper-free process and the kids LOVE working on these worksheets on the computer.
