Life Skills - Task Cards - Time - Elapsed Time - Special Education - Unit Four

Time is one of those real world concepts that many students struggle with. Three levels are provided within this activity. The first level has students practice calculating the elapsed time for cooking related activities. The second level has students calculate the elapsed time for movie related scenarios. Finally, the third level has students calculate the elapsed time for job related prompts. The scenarios featured in this lesson are directly applicable to the real world and teach students the importance of knowing why calculating elapsed time is an important life skill to master.
