Life Skills Reading, Writing, Money, and Math: Going to the Movies UNIT ONE
What kid doesn't love a good movie? Going to the movie theater is such a FUN experience with so much real world reading, writing, and math skills involved. Concepts like sight word vocabulary (ex: matinee), calculating ticket prices, concepts of elapsed time (for when a movie will end), and paying for food are all important skills students will be expected to independently do at the theater.
This is UNIT ONE of my Going to the Movies packet.
I created this packet to help students practice these very important skills in a fun and engaging way. My students LOVED this packet and were so motivated to complete it. I am sure yours will love it too!
