Life Skills Reading and Writing For Jobs: Career Research
Life Skills Reading and Writing For Jobs: Career Research
Many of my students struggle with the concept of potentially entering the workforce one day. They are not exposed to the wide range of jobs out there, and consequently are unable to realistically pick appropriate job options for themselves in the process. This PRINT AND GO download addresses all of these concerns in a fun and structured way. Students will be able to research careers of their choice in scaffolded activities that promote deeper understanding of job options, vocabulary in the work force, and research skills as well.
This is a great activity for any teacher looking to integrate more functional reading and writing skills into their daily classroom instruction. It also provides students with an introduction into possible career choices for themselves in the future as well.
