Life Skills Money and Math - Counting Money - Dollar Bills Edition - UNIT FOUR

Year after year, my students struggle with concepts of money. The struggles range from bill and coin identification all the way up to adding mixed bills/coin totals up successfully. I have heard from other teachers as well that this is a very real problem for many of today's students.

To address this need, I have created a fun set of activities to challenge students to truly understand money in a fun and hands on way.

With this purchase, you will have access to UNIT FOUR of my money set. In UNIT FOUR, I have created a worksheets packet for students to complete. It is scaffolded, slowly, to support their success along the way.

- 1 page reviewing different U.S. bills available

- 5 pages reviewing patterns when adding the same bill repeatedly

- 6 pages practicing adding the same type of bill

- 12 pages of adding UP mixed bills (both independent and scaffolded practice)

- 6 pages adding UP mixed bills (extra practice)

- 3 pages of a challenge activity adding up mixed bills (not in increasing value order so requires more skill)
