Life Skills Menu Math and Money Practice: Dominos

This is a great functional document to use to expose students to money skills in a relevant and fun way. This is part of my Menu Math Series and includes Dominos Restaurant.

Are your students not quite ready to handle coins and change? Not to worry! I strongly encourage you to try the DOLLAR UP strategy with these worksheets as well. Works amazing and is a great way to differentiate lower/higher learning groups.

With this download, students will practice the following skills: (1) finding the price of menu items, (2) adding multiple menu items together [great decimal practice....scaffolded worksheet], (3) calculating change back [scaffolded worksheet], (4) figuring out which item costs more and calculating how much more it costs and (5) budgeting practice using menus.

As an extension activity, I have students count out the totals using paper money to further extend their learning. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
