Life skills students often struggle to read large numbers correctly. Although many of my students know their place value for three digit numbers, they truly struggle once numbers get into the thousands place. They often confuse the comma and decimal point, and have difficulty taking meaning out of the numbers they are reading in order to estimate correctly. In order to address this need, I have created some worksheets to help scaffold students' understanding of this often very difficult concept!
