Many students strive to hopefully get a job one day. Being employed is a great step towards leading an independent life. One of the most important parts of getting a job is being able to perform well on an interview. Help your students practice some basic interview skills with this DIGITAL activity.

This activity is specifically formatted to be used with Google Drive and is compatible with Google Classroom. Google Drive is an amazing resource that many educators are now using as an interface to support 1:1 digital instruction in the classroom. I pair it up with Google Classroom (a free website) that allows me to digitally send each student in my class a copy of the worksheets that they later submit to me for grading. With this lesson, students are able to type directly into the colored boxes on the digital worksheet. It is an amazing paper-free process and the kids LOVE working on these worksheets on the computer.

Although initially designed for special education students, this would be a great activity for any teacher looking to introduce basic job skills lessons into their daily classroom instruction. By structuring a step by step framework for an interview process through this lesson, your students will be able to increase their confidence and familiarity with this often abstract topic!
