Job Skills - Life Skills - Complete the Order - GOOGLE - Fast Food Order

Are you looking to get your students to practice job skills but don't know where to begin? Look no further! This fun Complete the Order set is made just for you! With an emphasis on specific retail job skills, this activity focuses on students filling different FAST FOOD ORDERS. Two different levels are provided within this lesson. Level one has students select the correct menu item from a visual list after reading it. This is a great level to build sight word mastery with fast food menu items. It also scaffolds students' understanding for level two. In level two, students complete fast food orders by dragging and dropping a total of three to four items from a list. Students will enjoy it because it is relevant, age-appropriate material. You'll love it because it is a great NO PREP activity! 

This activity is specifically formatted to be used with Google Drive and is compatible with Google Classroom. Google Drive is an amazing resource that many educators are now using as an interface to support 1:1 digital instruction in the classroom. I pair it up with Google Classroom (a free website) that allows me to digitally send each student in my class a copy of the worksheets that they later submit to me for grading. With this lesson, students are able to drag and drop images into their correct locations. It is an amazing paper-free process and the kids LOVE working on these worksheets on the computer.

These activities do a great job of introducing students to the skills needed to be successful in a variety of retail work places.
