Halloween is right around the corner and your kids are probably already counting down the days for sugary goodness. Capture their excitement this year by creating fun Halloween themed recipes that provide engaging reading/writing practice as well!

In this DIGITAL unit, students will answer comprehension questions for FIVE Halloween themed recipes! These recipes can all be made in a classroom and have always been a huge hit for my kids year after year. 

This activity is specifically formatted to be used with Google Drive and is compatible with Google Classroom. Google Drive is an amazing resource that many educators are now using as an interface to support 1:1 digital instruction in the classroom. I pair it up with Google Classroom (a free website) that allows me to digitally send each student in my class a copy of the worksheets that they later submit to me for grading. It is an amazing paper-free process and the kids LOVE working on these worksheets on the computer. 

Recipe comprehension is a fantastic real world skill for students to master. Have them begging for more practice with this download!
